Weddings always go wrong

Can a Home and Away wedding evr go perfectly or do they always end in disastor? something always goes wrong. Only a few actually end nicely!

Flynn & Sally - even though things was a disaster, somehow I remember the wedding taking place in a tent after it rained - does that count? I'm unsure on that one.

Flynn and Sally were getting married in a park(?)..Scott was taking both Sally and Leah to the wedding and something scared the horse and Leah and Sally had to jump off,getting muddy and walking and then getting picked up by a car and taken to the park only for it to rain and them having to get married in the hosptial.

As weddings go,i think that was uneventful

Although Robbie and Tasha came close,until she found out she was pregnant.

I guess it's because soaps thrive on depressing and dramatic storylines and a marriage is meant to be a happy occasion. So if they're gonna show a happy occasion, how can they make it depressing and "soap-ish"? You guessed it...by making it go wrong!

Weddings and pregnancies are things that just have to happen in a soap if it is going to relefect any kind of normality and unfortunately, if they just went completely smoothly, they would be predictable and boring. So... I guess they have to get through them as best they can.
