When she was with Harry i really liked her as she was so fiesty and a bit of a feminist which made her stand out a bit. Then they paired her off with Jude and ruined her by becoming a selfish, whingey misery guts who was no fun at all. Then she broke Charlotte's heart (another one i really liked).

Amanda because everyone hates her but she seems to be a classic soap bitch and fits into the show pretty well... Kit because she's Kit... AWESOME Sarah because although she killed Noah when she was crying over Felix and such, i really started to sympathise with her... Zoe as well, she owned the show during her stint...

MIng Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 About the Sutherland family. I saw from the other tread that a lot of people hated them, all the members. Many of them I know was very popular too, but I'm just going to name them all (or the ones I really liked) I really liked Rhys. He would at least be in my all time top20 list. I saw from the hate-thread that a lot of people disliked him because he cheated on Beth, left her, was always angry etc. I really enjoyed watching him trough the break up with Beth. He was stupid at first (but he was still a good character and had good scenes), but he is a good man and once he got the chance to calm down he proved that. I just wish he didn't have to leave. He could either have stayed with Beth, or him&Shelley could have moved to the bay. I liked him with both. I also really enjoyed him when Kane returned, although he got a little boring after Dani's trial, when Kane vs Rhys scenes were repeated a lot. But apart from that I can't remember a scene with Rhys were he wasn't at least pretty good. Another thing that made me like Rhys, was Michaels acting. The scene when Shelley left him and he started crying is the best crying I've seen on H&A. You could just see how his face turned red and he was shivering. It looked very real! I love KK and I also really liked Dani (most of all between 2002 and mid 2004). In her early days she was really bitchy and had very high thoughts about herself. She wasn't too bad, but I felt she got more interesting when she had some trauma in her life. I really enjoyed her scenes when Kane returned in 2003. And also before that, during the Angie era, she was really a sweet sister and had great chemistry with her sisters. She's one of the few characters I enjoy more as "nice and kind" character than with an attitude. I feel like the only one on this board that liked Kirsty, Dani and Rhys. You would think you needed to pick a side and hate the other. I adore Max. He was just the cutest kid in the world. I loved him&Colleen together, him&Dylan, him&Beth and him&Kirsty. And I loved how he was always worried that people would leave him. He was also one of the funniest characters in H&A. If you paid attention to him, you would notice a lot of clever, funny, comments. He was different and original, especially in Coral’s days. Many have said that he should have had some friends among the main characters and that would have made him a better character. I though one of the best thing about him was that he wasn't a normal kid/teen character. He had girlfriends and he had Colleen. I loved his cute little romances and when he discussed them with Colleen. But I also enjoyed his and Henry's friendship after they'd stopped being enemies. I quite liked Henry too. Shelley was also really great. She was a very realistic mother figure when she was a main character. She wasn't just a mother, but she was also a councilor at the DIC. The DIC wasn't the same without her. And as Michael, she was excellent in the Rhys&Shelley break-up story. She's one of the finest actors H&A have had. Jade: only liked her from in the middle of the Lock-in story, followed by the twin-swap (got a little annoying to watch with Duncan, but I've seen her much worse). Brodie: She was okay..
Tamxxx Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I agree i loved the sutherland family and there so entertaining with all the dramas and stuff, I mean thats the point if they have a bad side then its fun to watch or otherwise it would be boring, kirsty and dani were all time favourties they were so bratty and real rebel teens in their earlier days along with kane his character was so interesting, I liked the bad side of him in 2004 he turned a bit boring just being normal, I also like Rhys he is the best dad ever on the show lol he maked me laugh yes her can be a bit of a bitch sometimes but he cared alot for his family, imo shelly was so selfish she didnt care when she didnt want to give her kidney to kirsty just because f her boyfriend seeing scars thats so silly I mean she should care about her own daughter and when that guy left him she only went with Rhys because she was single and lonely not for the fact that she loved him

princess.sparkle Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I always really liked Gypsy, she was just a lot more interesting than so many of the other well-loved characters, I also thought that a lot of the time she was mis-understood and really insecure, which led to her acting like a bitch. Plus I loved her and Will togather, I thought they were made for each other. I loved Kane and Kirsty, both individually and togather, IMO one of the best Home and Away couples of all time, in a total Romeo-Julliet kind of way. I'm also warming to Belle and Amanda. And for some reason I quite like Cassie too, although having read the Australian spoilers maybe I'll start to go off her when those episodes are screened in the UK.

I don't no what it is about him but theres something about him i think maybe if he got a decent storyline more people would like him. I also loved Scott! I cant believe he left, i hope he comes back in the future. Brodie was another favourite, there was something about her shes just great!
