Mornings

Has anyone else noticed that in the mornings everyone seems to have the time to; go to the beach/chat with friends/have breakfast at the diner/go home and get changed, before they start their jobs/school? How early do they have to get up to do this?!

I realise this may be a trivial topic, but seriously, where do they find the time? The only people that seem to work at reasonable times are Leah, Irene and Colleen who work in the diner. Everyone elses' working day seems to start at like 10am lol.

Is it just me that has noticed this?

It's not just you. Basically they're able to do it because hardly any of them have proper jobs, and the kids go to school whenever it suits the plot (which is hardly ever these days).

^^ Yeah, none of them really have jobs that take them out of the Bay that much. For such a small, seaside town, they sure have a lot of jobs to fill! :P

Haha I've noticed this!! Surely Matilda etc must start school at like 9 but, so how do they have the time to go to eachothers houses and grab a drink or a swim??? I couldnt wake up that early!!

Thank God other people think this lol, and that i wasn't just lazy and got up late! They never go to school or work until at least midday, but as i said before, the diner staff must start preparations at about 4:30 am.

And I don't understand how Irene has time to do anything...she should just save herself the bother and put a tent in the Diner. :P

Well I don’t know about you guys, but I live in Australia and used to go surfing every morning before school – you just get up and get on with the day don’t you? Its pretty normal, most of my mates from school used to hang at the refectories for an hour or so before school too – and we started at 8.45am.

I mean if you think about it – you get up at 6.30am – out the house by 7am and you got two hours or so to what you want. Plus they live pretty close to the Diner/Beach and school, so its pretty believable.

Well Summer Bay is meant to be a small seaside town. So everywhere you go, you could walk too. Though people that live on the beach normally have an early start to go surfing, etc as Alex said.
