paul all the way. people in my school don't watch haa, i only started to watching regulary a while ago. Neighbours copy home and away. there are some characters in home and away that i don't like.

I just point out how badly Neighbours rates in Australia compared to H/A and they shut up!

H/A is always in the top 10 and usuall top 5 shows every night, Neighbours struggles to make the top 20.

my friends dont hate home and away, they just dont care for it, then again their mostly guys and yeh i cant exactly see them watching it Though they do watch OC Anyways, Paul is hotter then all the guys in Neighbours put together In my opinion he is anyways. But the guy that angel_a's friends fancy aint that bad looking, but just not as hot as out Paulie

I dont know anyone else who watches it and everyone teases me but I dont mind, home and away is the only soap for me!!! Its the only programmes that really grabs my attention and you can really relate to the characters and storylines. As someone said above, its not all about murder and drugs like some english soaps, theres way more to it!!!

Although everyones entitled to like/dislike what they want I still cant understand whats not to like about home and away!!!!!!

I don't know about hate, but I have friends who watch other soaps (mostly Neighbours) yet don't watch HnA. I have friends who do not really like soaps, so they avoid it but I think it's more of dislike of soaps in general, not a personal attack on HnA. I know a lady who doesn't watch commercial stations apart from documentaries and won't let her child, either but she's not against anyone watching it as such.

I have heard a few people I don't know too well so I can't say they're friends, badmouth HnA and other shows. Ohh, I have one friend, who when I asked her if she watches HnA, she shook her head, saying 'it's so unrealistic!' Apart from the fact that it's not really that unrealistic (weird things do happen in reality), this again is more of a soapies in general attitude.

My one mate who lovvvves Neighbours insists that HnA doesn't compare, but she doesn't hate it and will sit with me and watch it at my house.

What realllly annoys me, is when people refuse to watch and quite often complain about HnA and other soaps, because they see such things as 'trashy'. Comments such as 'Oh, I don't watch that trashy stuff. I only watch (insert documentary/news type programmes here).' As if watching soapies or even commercial telly in general is a reflection on your IQ. (the lady mentioned at the start of my post is an exception...she's not against it, it's just not her thing).

Ohhh, and to me, Paul is hotter... Although that other guy isn't hurting my eyes....
