Not a huge deal, I know, but that's two days less waiting and for me that's exciting Source Oh, and another new trailer is due out, I think tomorrow so keep an eye out
Formerly Known as FKAJ Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 So, today i was totally suprised, a new HP was at the shops, by J.K Rowling herself! i was in shock, because i hadn't heard of any promotion surrounding it t all, but it was real, not some fake rip off, but 100% genuine, "The Tales of Beetle the Bard" does anyone else have it? it's like all the fairytales that are mentioned in the last book, like The Tale of the Three Brothers, with the Eldar Wand and all, its pretty cute little book, a bit pointless, but i still wanted it to add to the collection I read this book and I loved it. The Warlock's Hairy Heart was interesting - very similar to The Robber Bridegroom and The Bloody Chamber, Angela Carter's reworking of Bluebeard. My favourite though was The Fountain of Fair Fortune - kind of a cliche, but a surprisingly effective twist. Oh, and another addition to my previous comments on the movies: I did love the handling of the time travel stuff in Prisoner of Azkaban. For the most part, the movie sucked, but that lifted the climax a bit. What I would love to see, ideally 20 years from now, is for each book to be adapted into an annual miniseries. I guess two to three parts for the first three, six or seven parts for the latter four. If only they'd had this idea when they were making Goblet of Fire. Prisoner of Azkaban would have been salvageable with another 15 or 20 minutes to make some of the backstory clearer.

"I have to do this..." *CRIES hysterically* :( That got to me too I love the look of the bathroom scene and the deshelved Draco in it and I loved the bit with Katie and the curse, so spooky looking.
