Harry Potter - love or hate it?

I have read all the books up as far as the last movie and it is going to be strange to watch a Harry Potter movie when Ive never even read the book. Roll on July is what I say!

So, today i was totally suprised, a new HP was at the shops, by J.K Rowling herself! i was in shock, because i hadn't heard of any promotion surrounding it t all, but it was real, not some fake rip off, but 100% genuine,

does anyone else have it? it's like all the fairytales that are mentioned in the last book, like The Tale of the Three Brothers, with the Eldar Wand and all, its pretty cute little book, a bit pointless, but i still wanted it to add to the collection

I don't have it yet but plan on getting it on Boxing Day with my xmas money. It's meant to be really good from what I've heard. Of course it's not Harry Potter but it's still in the Potter world. I quite enjoyed the Three Brothers story that was in DH so I think the book will bee good.

I have it (it was pre-ordered since August ). It's very good. It has all the storied mentioned in the book including The Three Brothers, plus one new one. At the end of each story there are highly amusing notes on it from Dumbledore. Very interesting and gives you an insight to a few unknown mysteries about Hogwarts too.

I didn't know this even existed! You would think they would advertise something like this to death! I'm with you jenlee, I'm going to wait till after Christmas and buy a copy.

Apparently this was on during the Oscars. I didn't watch all of the Oscars so I don't know, but there are some cool bits that aren't in the other trailers and some behind the scenes stuff and cast interviews. If you haven't seen it yet, very cool video. Just makes me even more excited for the movie, lol.

^ I thought this was released separately. It was put out by MSN Australia, because at the end of the Oscars was like a less than 30 second preview for all the movies coming out in 2009. HBP was there, but only for a few seconds.

Anyways, I absolutely love it (The new trailer, I mean). Stoned!Ron is fabulous. "All right you're in love with her, have you ever actually met her?" "No" "Could you introduce me?" Hee hee! Rupert is going to be so awesome in this film. I can just tell.

And they've kept the canaries !!!

I can't wait for the canaries!! I adore the Hermione/Ron/Lavender triangle so I can't wait to see that.

The whole movie looks like the best so far I think. The book was great and the movie looks like it's going to be amazing

The Half Blood Prince movie looks like it is going to be the best yet! Even if it willnot be completely true to the book!

I agree, this movie definitely looks more promising that OOTP.
