It's pretty much almost a year we're going to have to wait... That f*cking sucks balls... Like seriously.

WB are f***ed in the head.

I liked the 4th one (except for Hermione PMSing throughout the entire movie.) I think I got lost on the Crouches, but other than that I thought it was pretty well done. They ditched the House Elves, but I didn't find myself needing them. They always felt like filler to the book. The explanation of Barty Jr sending up the Dark Mark himself, and Neville giving Harry the Gillyweed worked for me. Although it might become an issue in the 7th movie... or whatever number it will be, if things are getting split up into parts... when the House Elves become more significant.

I was indifferent to the 5th movie. Because I hated the book so much, the movie is better by virtue of being shorter (by about two weeks of my life I'll never get back). Plus it has Luna and Thestrals, so I was happy. Oh, and there was a Sirius/Remus moment where they were practically sitting in each other's laps. Nice. The Sirius... incident... was crap, but it was always gonna be. The book didn't give them anything to work with.

The third movie should be stricken from the history books and replaced by something adequate before our generation can be tried for crimes against films, literature, and humanity.

From what I've gathered WB are saying that due to the writers strike, they now have a new window open next Summer in America to release HP. So yeah, they want more money! It sucks big time for us, but at the same time it does mean that the break between HBP and DH1 will be shorter (that is if they keep that date the same). PS was the highest rating movie of the series so far and that was released in the November not July, same with OotP which I think is second highest. I don't know why they couldn't have just left it. <_<

Now that they have all this extra time there is no excuse for them to have stuffed it up.

Now they can go back and add in Dumbledore's funeral

With all this time on my hands, I've starting reading the series from the beginning again. Harry and Ron have just saved Hermione from the troll :).

...

I liked PoA.

^^ Maybe. But still. You would have thought they'd show it in HPB though,

at least they could show Harry at the tomb or something. Maybe they'll just cut the funeral and just show him afterwards

Actually, now that you mention

the tomb, that could be a reason for holding it back. If they put the funeral at the start of the 7th movie, it'll be easier for an audience to keep track of the fact that Dumbledore's buried there and that Voldemort needs to dig him up... I think... that happens doesn't it? Or did I dream it... anyway... I think they might just be trying to hold all the important elements together.

^^ Yeah, taht's a good idea. I was wondering about

the tomb because Voldemort had to go in there to get the... Elder Wand, was it? Or was it the ring? no that was in teh snitch... I forget. I think it was the Elder Wand though, but eh couldn't use it because he didn't win it off it's previous master, and then he thought that Snape was the master, and killed him, but then we find out it was Draco....

No. You didn't dream it.

He needed to dig up Dumbledore to get the Elder Wand... Is that right? I haven't read the book in awhile... How do you know the funeral isn't in the movie? How would they end it, with his death?
