If the rumors are true then I can start from the begining.

Jen I was gutted as well, about then not showing the bits about the mirror! I really wanted to see that, as it really upset me reading it and I think Daniel would of been great at acting that out! I also would loved to of seen Lupin at the train station saying by to Harry!

about 78 hours to go!!!

I watched the 5th movie yesterday. I loved it. Probably my favourite HP movie, well after HP4. And i cried when

Sirius died

:(

Cant wait for the book. I know i wont be able to read it properly till the Summer holidays, but i do want to know who dies. Hopefully i can get it out of someone :)

My bet is that in the end Harry wakes up to realize that it has all been a seven book long dream and he is still the ten year old little boy living under the stairs with no magical powers at all.

Can't wait for the book anyway. And I almost cried in the movie. You do realize that you Australians get the book before us? Because it's Saturday there before it's Saturday here. Not the point, just wanted to say how much I can't wait for the book!

And the sixth movie is going to be great. Lots of my Slytherin house gets drama in there.

I thought it was being released at midnight<Saturday in the Uk, and your midnight just happens to coincide with our 9am :P?

This whole time I've been saying that I think Snape and Dumbledore switched bodies (via polyjuice potion) so that Snapes reall the one who died in the last book. But I was explaining that to a friend last night and realised that it could have just as easily been the way it appeared, withi Snape killing Dumbledore, and it would still fit in with my theory that the muder only happened so that Draco would be protected. Because of the unbreakable vow... Snape couldn't let anything happen to him, so if he was posing as Dumbledore, he couldn't fight back, and if he actually killed Dumbledore, he couldn't risk Draco being found out as having disobeyed Voldemort's orders by refusing to kill...

Either way, it's all about Draco.

^^ Yep, you're right, emmasi. The book's being released at 00:01am BST (British Summer Time). So, everywhere in the English speaking world (apart from, curiously, the USA) will get it at 00:01am BST. I think it's being released at midnight in each of the individual states in the US; so they will all get it at different times.

As much as I hated the film version of OotP, it did solidify my view that Snape is not evil! I don't buy the whole Snape-Dumbledore swap (Polyjuice has already featured heavily in the books)

although, if you've read the "leaked" version of DH (I haven't, I've just read comments on it), you'll know that Dumbledore's meant to save Harry from Voldemort, which he obviously can't do if he's dead, right?

, but I do maybe think that Snape is working as a double agent for Dumbledore.

^^ Meh, I dunno. As much as I love Dumbledore, I don't want him back. JKR has always made it clear that there are boundaries to magic, that people can't come back from the dead, and even though he woudn't be technically "dead", it'd still feel a bit, meh.

Although, if the leaked book is anything to go by, the entire book will be meeeeeeeeeh; very meh!

Especially if the epilogue turns out to be true - "All was not well", JKR!

Edit: NOTE TO FILM DIRECTORS OF HP5: BEING TAUNTED BY THE MAURADERS IS NOT SEVERUS SNAPE'S "WORST MEMORY"! ughhh.

lol... to both that spoiler - I just now told my friend that I found that very "meh" as well :P - and to the worst memory. You have to understand though, they were trying to systematically remove all significance of Remus in this movie so that they can leave him out completely in the next. I mean, I assume that's what they were doing. Obviously no one wants to see what Tonks does to him in the end... I almost don't blame them for cutting him out.

(That's just me rambling by the way. I'm sure Remus and Tonks will be very... disgusting... together... in the next film... ugh.)

People don't necessarily have to come back from the dead to be in the book. There can be flashbacks, ghosts, journies to the afterlife... Oh hang about... I haven't read HBP since it was relased, but wasn't there a lake full of corpses or zombies or something...? That sounds a lot like a classic pathway to the underworld, and since we've already seen "Fluffy" in these books.... ...

Right! New theory!! Harry goes back to wherever the heck that lake was and crosses into Tarterus, where he is met by Cerberus, aka Fluffy, whom he gets by to meet Hades... who then allows him access to the Elesian fields, where he THEN speaks to Sirius, James & Lily, and whoever else has wound up there as dead heroes tend to do... thereby gaining a new strength and passion for defeating Voldemort, which in turn gives him the power he needs to win...

That would be AWESOME!
