I knew Snape was evil I don't believe Snape is evil, Dumbledore trusts him so I do, I have a feeling he will play a major part in the last book helping Harry defeat Voldemort, that is, if Harry does defeat him.

emmasi Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 I saw it. It was good. I don't agree, but it was good. I hate the book so I wasn't expecting much, therefore getting anything good out of it was a pleasant surprise. I particularly liked Umbridge, who I HATED in the book... So glad they had the blood-quill thing in there... That the thestrals, which were also brilliant, were the only highlights of the book for me. Disappointed in the Death Eater vs The Order showdown - it was all rather rushed and insignificant. Remus' reaction to Sirius death was... random. He appeared to come out of nowhere to hold Harry back, even though Harry wasn't particularly struggling until just before he broke free... kind of odd, and I would have liked him to confirm that Sirius was gone. The mist was even more lame than the curtain, which I honestly and truly didn't think was possible. I did like Voldemort vs Dumbledore straight after which almost redeemed it... almost... All in all, an okay film. Not bad, not great. A much more appropriate length than the book though, I must say. Even if it did mean sacrificing almost all of Remus' scenes

I think I'm going to read the last few chapters first so I know who lives and dies! Don't think I could wait to read the book for start to finish as I'm such a slow reader! I've even book the week after it comes out off work, so I can sity and read it! 6 days to go...
Inactive User Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 Saw the HP 5 movie on Wednesday with my cousin. And I saw it again with my sister yesterday. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. Yah six more days to go for the HP 7 book to come out!!!
