Slightly off topic-but JK Rowling has definately finished the book and apparently did so 3 weeks ago. The proof-she wrote a note in marker pen on the bust of a marble statue in a very posh hotel (it was in The Sun today)

^^ 'Cos The Sun is such a reliable source...

Hmm...she may well've finished it, but it's a bit of a random thing to do. :S

I haven't read ANY of the Harry Potter books and I don't plan on. Back when I was in school (you have no idea how old i feel typing that) I couldn't understand the craze, so there and then I decided to take a stand against it, and that's the way it's been ever since.

There are moments when I think to myself that I might actually be missing out but then I remind myself that I once had a point to not reading the books, and although I can't seem to remember what that point was right now, I'm sure that what ever my reasons wereat the time, it was good enough for me to rebel against Harry and his followers. And that is reason enough for me to continue my rebellion.

I know you didn't need to know that, but I felt like sharing. :P

Hey guys I have finally thinking of most people will die in book 7!! Now Mr Wealsey have to die (As much I hate him) Molly Weasley is too funny to watch so she can't die!! and I bet Some of the teachers will die as well and Ginny and Harry should get Married at the end of the book!! and Hermoine and Ron aswell!! and I bet Voldermort will fight Harry at the place where his parents died!!??

Actually the Sun in this case is a reliable source-showing a picture of the message wrote on the statue. Jk Rowlings agents have confirmed she was writing the book there-plus-latest rumours suggests that the statue in question is of an ancient emperor called severus...

Oh, okay. Hmm, it still seems a bit of an odd thing to do. I read about it on the internet, but at that stage her agents hadn't confirmed anything so we couldn't be sure if it truly was JK, or just an impersonator. Lol, that would be quite cool if it's true that the statue is called Severus! Haha, I wonder if they'll auction if off, if it's true, or if it'll become a shrine to all things Harry Potter?! :P

I know...they could make a bomb, either way! 'Cos the chances are, the hotel'll be included in the "Harry Potter tours" at some point. :P

It says somewhere in this thread, too, that the book is gonna be quite expensive! I wonder if that's just publishers cashing in because they know people will buy it, or if it's 'cos it's an epic... I really hope it's the second!

I'm not surprised to be honest, because this is her last oppertunity to cash in on the books themselves.
