When will the titles disappear in the UK?

The varations, if the international markets have them, begin on Monday.

If we get the episodes "butchered", for the next week you'll see the recap, followed by the waves shot, into the new episode.

After the first two scenes you then have the title sequence (yes, parked in the middle of the episode!!!!) followed by the rest of the episode.

Other variations include the recap after the credits, and most notably - and as is still going on in Australia - no credits whatsoever, just a recap, a H&A bumper, then the show.

And it's crap. Hopefully Five will edit them back in. As I've said before, I wouldn't be bothered if they cut 30 seconds out of each episode to fit them in - the next six weeks of Home & Away is p*ss poor attempts to get one over on Big Brother Australia at best.

Oh, that is a shame.

The title sequence 'makes' H&A for me. The Aussie soaps are set aside from UK soaps by the titles and although they're cheesy, they're nice.

Sorry, I am lost. Is it the opening titles going or the closing credits?

If you remember, C4 did away with the closing credits and we only saw them again once C5 started showing H&A.

I would miss the opening titles but not the closing credits.

The opening credits. Home and Away has opening credits as they 'credit' people, rather than opening titles like programmes such as EastEnders or Neighbours does. When did Channel 4 show Home and Away?

Not long to go then as the credits start to disappear or move from this Friday 27th October...

No credits on tonight's Five Life episode.
