buffygirl Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Questions about tonight’s episode. ! .Why would Morag, keep that information about Barry’s wife. In a file, as much as I love Morag in principal she’s not that stupid to do that. Anyone can break in and see it , do in a way you’d think she’d thought better than keeping it on file, its seriously not the type of stuff you leave is it. 2 Why didn’t Barry just remove the file he needed and destroyed it, then he could have confessed the next day…?
Reo Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I think morag is the type of person that would keep files on everything, but i dont think she would of been the type to keep it with all her other files.. I dont get your second question though.. Even though Barry would of stood up and took his punishment for what he did,i dont think he would of confessed if he didnt had to..he was doing what was best for kim and in his eyes that is being there with him and supporting him through life..i dont think he would of confessed to the police..in his eyes that wouldnt of been the best for kim, even though he would of took his punishment.
Frankie Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I agree that Morga would be meticulous with her files...so that seems to make sense to me. As for Barry destrying the evidence...well he could have done that...but it would have been all over and no real drama if that had gone down that road. This was much more dramatic..even though I was so sad for Irene and Barry who were so sweet in the last couple of epsidoes...I was crying for them and really felt for Irene who was feeling so hurt and alone after putting all her hopes for the future into this.

What i ment was that he found the file about Kerry, and he could have destroyed it.. then the next day confessed to about josh..they would'nt have to find out about her.
Bay_Mad Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Im confused as to how Morag even knew about Kerry and Hyde in the first place? And when she got the files?? Im probably being really stupid..i just really cant remember!
Reo Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I get what you mean now..sorry,it was too much GTA..made my brain slow today.. I guess, maybe he thought beacuse it had been 18 years and he hadnt been found out about kerry he may get away with it,all he wanted was the best for kim and he probably thought the best for him would be for him to stay out of jail and be there for him,so confessing wasnt a answer. And Kim wanted to find his mother so hired Morag to find out about her,as she was getting closer Barry finally told her the truth,Morag agreed to keep it quiet and pulled away from helping Kim,Kim went out on his own and as he got close to the truth Barry told him..Morag being Morag must of had files on it,she would of had them while investigating so probably finished them when she found out the truth.
Bay_Mad Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Ahh I remember now!! I was being stupid! Thank you!
lilaccat Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 He wouldnt have been able to confess without a good reason. If he had said he did it over Josh trying to take the school it would have been cold blooded murder and he would have gone down for an awful long time. Im assuming Morag would want to keep a file just in case it all came out (as it did) and then they might say she had something to do with it. If it was all documented legally then it would be better
ste Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 He wouldnt have been able to confess without a good reason. If he had said he did it over Josh trying to take the school it would have been cold blooded murder and he would have gone down for an awful long time. Apart from the fact it was an accident. That's all he had to say. And if he had done what "Buffygirl" said and destroyed the kerry files, no-one would have any reason to believe otherwise.

That's all he had to say. And if he had done what "Buffygirl" said and destroyed the kerry files, no-one would have any reason to believe otherwise. Exactly, it was said that the Josh thing was an accident, and from what we saw, it was self defence of Hyde to struggle with Josh as Josh was going to hold the gun at Hyde to threaten him or shoot. Did they say he would be charged with two counts of murder? I'm not sure.. I can't remember but it seems a bit contradictive of itself. So if Hyde had said it was an accident with Josh - self defence I mean he didn't intentially kill Josh the gun just went off pointing in Josh's direction in the struggle... then he would have got a light senetence, if that. The outcome to this storyline is quite disappointing to me. All that build up for Hyde to ACCIDENTLY kill him...
