Macca and Martha?

Ok this may of already been asked or I've just not been paying attention, but Martha is Alfs grand-daughter,but ALf didn't know who Macca was if they are brother and sister should Alf not be Maccas grandad too?

Martha is Alf's daughter's daughter, and was adopted by Macca's parents, thus... Alf did not know about Macca.

If I'm not mistaken, Martha was adopted by Macca's parents....or was she adopted into Alf's family?

That's great thank you so much I missed a few episodes when Martha arrived I only really started watching it from when the Holdens arrived, thanks so much you two.
