nz85 Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 I absolutely couldn't stand The Believers, extremely boring and irritating. It is also shameful that Tasha's baby came out of it and not through Robbie's relationship.
TabbyCool Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 all these exciting mysteries are flung at you and they drag them out, put in as many twists as humanly possible then when it comes to answer the mystery you really don't care anymore. I completely agree with that. That's how I felt about the stalker storyline last year, at first it was quite interesting, but after a while I just found it tedious and repetitive and totally lost interest in it. The last episode, where they revealed that it was Zoe, that was a good episode, but I'd already lost interest in the actual storyline and wasn't really bothered that it was Zoe anyway, I just wanted to see a bit of drama. The thing is as well, by the end, when Mark Edwards had been killed it wasn't too hard to guess who it was, it had been built up that it was Mark who was the stalker, but when he was found dead it was obvious it wasn't him! We all knew it wasn't going to be a favourite long-term character either, they could hardly have Alf as the stalker could they?!? So it wasn't too hard to figure out that it might be Zoe, but by then I didn't care anyway.
H&A_FAN Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 The Felix/Sarah Lewis/Zoeve/Stalker storyline, that was about 3 years.
Skykat Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 The paternity storyline was by far the worst. The scriptwriters should have ended it when Josie first found out, dragging it out for a full nine months just left everyone feeling so bored with it. I hate when storylines are dragged out too long and you end up losing interest in them, it ruins really good stoylines. I felt exactly the same as you Tabbycool about the stalker story, dragging it out completely ruined it for me.
Tulip Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 The Felix/Sarah/Zoe storyline are kind of two separate storylines though. I guess it is one but the way they have been written, the Zoe storyline didn't have a lot to do with Sarah's reign of terror other than the pair's relationship. Sarah was after one particular person, whereas Zoe is after the whole of Summer Bay and i think it's less about Sarah that it was when she first started being evil.
dncllpyk Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 The whole mineshaft storyline no one would be as dense as Rhys. Leaving the stove on your not supposed to leave the stove on if you go even if its only to to get milk and bread from the corner store when no one else is home. He should of taken only one of the twins with him and left the other at the house. And he tryed to dig them out anyone with common sense would know if would coz a cave in.
babelisa Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 oh my god! the whole kim scot and hailey story line never seemed to end!! i thought we would be watching it for ever! no need for it to go on that long! project 56 was just crap! that went on forever and it wasn't even that good! and the worst of them all is............the believers! oh my god! that took the cake! i mean how stupid can one girl be and then when it ends everyone is like its ok tash so what u couldn't believe the people who know u the longest and love u hey lets listen to complte strangers who dont wear shoes and are stuck in a time wrap! and robbie! just taking her back like that! come on man! get some balls!
Danifan Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 I know, Tasha treated everyone like dirt and everyone welcomed her back with open arms with not even a touch of resentment for being dumped for a load of loons who live in the bush and think drug rape is the best way to concieve a baby. Theres being stupid and then theres being Tasha.
swfc Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 The paternity one. I got so sick of it by the end that I just didn't watch H&A because of that. And by the time they solved it, I didn't know whether to be happy or just cry. It was ridiculous and a waste of good show time. They could have used that time to build up other characters instead of focussing on the paternity and who loves Hayley more-Kim or Scott. The Believers was another one that was a waste of time. Really made Tasha even more naive. And the fact that she thought that after going out with Jonah she and Robbie could be alright. It's so stupid. And then, everyone forgives and forget. Just plain crazy.
