Hi there guys,

I've been reading the story written about Sally's early years in the bay and I think it is fantastic! Well done! It has inspired me to put my own writing skills, combined with my love of all things 'Home and Away', to the test and go ahead and write some of my own material on one of my all-time favourites - Ailsa.

I would like to write a really gritty portrayal of Ails' life in jail, as not only do I enjoy crime stories but I also think this bakstory was important to Ailsa's character and so may hopefully be of interest to some of the members of this forum. I want to make it socially real, hard-hitting and most of all dramatic, with a touch of comedy too.

I hope to begin writing in the next couple of weeks. What I am asking for here is for any info on Ailsa, her history and any info on aussie culture in the 1960's / 70's (I'm assuming that's when it was that she was inside).

Any help with pulling this story together would be MOST appreciated, so feel free to add any comments, suggestions, etc in this thread. I really want to make this piece interesting to you guys and enjoyable to read too - so just be honest,

Well you could start with a flashback when Alisa killed her dad then later on she would been raped in jail which later to be Shauna don't forget that her father used to bet her mother up and her mother died of cancer when she was 26 I don't know if this helpful or right.

There's a clip on Ste's site where Ailsa revisits her childhood home which will give you some idea how the murder actually happened.

Ailsa was born in 1950.
