The story of Jack and Martha

I thought it was be a good idea to start a thread of the happily married couple.

So, how did they get together?

Jack arrived in Summer Bay with his father and brother as a police officer. He was called to the house-warming party Martha was throwing, asking them to keep the noise down. Martha took an instant dislike to him. However, next day her car got stuck in the mud. Jack was passing and Martha refused his help, until she realised she would not get home any other way. For the next few weeks, Martha and Jack wound each other up, until Martha played a trick on Jack that dangerously back-fired. Knowing he was afraid of spiders, she put a huge plastic black spider on his bed. When he saw it, he jumped in fright, banging his head as he did so and knocking himself out. In hospital, Martha visited him and after some persuasion, told Jack the truth. Jack wanted nothing to do with her at first but when he saw how desperate Martha was to make it up to him, he asked her to confront her biggest fear for him: heights. Jack asked Martha to dive into the sea from a great height. When he saw that she was willing to face her fears for him, he stopped her and kissed her. They were now together.

This thread is a good idea; they're a great couple and their history's a little hard to keep up with!

Not meaning to be picking but isn't it a spoiler about the marriage as UK viewers aren't this far ahead yet.

You missed the part where Jack gave Martha a speeding ticket I loved that
