The naming of the Stewart family.

I was looking at the website of Barrenjoey Lighthouse, which as many of you will know is situated on Barrenjoey head by Palm Beach (Summer Bay) and noticed this sentence.

Later, in 1868, two wooden lighthouses know as the Stewart Towers, were built at either end of the headland to guide ships in.
I wonder if that is how TPTB came up with the surname of Alf, Roo, Celia et al, and also the naming of the headland in the show as 'Stewart's Point'?

Interesting theory. I know that the Stewart family are from Scottish origins so I just assumed they picked a Scottish name. But maybe that had an influence too.

I think what Ryan meant was at least they didn't stereotype Alf's family just because they are of Scottish decent.
