TabbyCool Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Belle is 17, as we found out from the latest AUS epsiode. She's still 16 in UK episodes though, so must have had a birthday in the past 4 months in Aus episodes.
loveangelmusicbaby Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Yeah I don't understand being in the same year at school either. Maybe it is just more of a conveniency having all the teens in the same class?
claire_louise Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 It makes more sense to have them all in the same class, as it's more plausible that they hang out together. It's not very likely that they'd all be friends if they were in different years.
~Natasha~ Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 But they could at least make all the teenagers in the same year, the same age (They could get away with it). So does that mean Robbie, Tasha and Kim were all in the same year? and that Tasha's 18, Robbie is also possibly 18/19 and Kim's 19. The year above Ric, Cassie, Belle, Matilda and Lucas.xxx
tessa305 Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 Yes, Robbie,Tahsa and Kim were in the same year, but robbie -and possibly Kim?-were put back a year. And i think they may have been a year younger than Kirsty, Jade and Seb.
-Karen- Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 Going off the subject of teenagers a bit here but one of the things that bothers me a bit in Home and Away is the obvious age difference between the actors who play Beth and Tony. I didn't really notice it too much in the beginning but I do now for some reason. I think the characters are both supposed to be about the same age (46/47-ish I reckon) but actually Jon Sivewright is 41 and Clarissa house is 52, nearly 53. Just wondered what other people thought?
~Natasha~ Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 I think that age diference doesn't matter if they really love each other, and I think Beth and Tony are one of the strongest and un-noticed couples in Summer Bay but they rock!! xxx
DreamerCio Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 I don't think it particulary matters how old your partener is when your older when it does when your younger (aka Kim and Rachel) jsut as long as you love each other no matter what age they are it's all good. What i do think is sick is when a 60 year old marries a 20 year old.

Why would that bother you? Lots of people go out with or are married to people a lot older or younger than themselves, it's nothing unusual.
