Yeah that's right. In pig latin you take the last letter of a word and put it at the beginning. So Irene is Renei.

Why does Brad call Rachel Bloss?

The only reason i can come up with Brad calling Racheal Bloss, is because of her hair. And it's probably short for Blossom. Isn't their some doll called 'cherry blossom' that has curly hair, or something like that.

I've also heard Racheal call Brad 'bubba'.

Macca calls Martha 'bub', or it could be 'bug' or 'babe'. I've never really understood what he said.

Colleen and Morag nearly always refer to Peter as Detective, and Jack as constable.

I just remembered that Irene used to call Nick 'shortie', even when he was not so short! :D

I also like how Beth calls all her kids 'sweet' :)

I always thought he called her "Boss". I think it was explained in one of Brad's first episodes, and Rachel was in the hospital?

Ugh! I can't stand that! I don't know why, it just rubs me up the wrong way. Not just when Beth says it, but when anyone says it. "Sweet" is an adjective used to describe how something tastes/looks/or sounds. It is NOT a name! What's wrong with sweetheart or sweetie?

I guess you feel quite strongly about that then?!

I never really thought of it like that but i think it's just meant to be a shortened version of sweetheart. I would prefer 'sweet' to 'sweetie' through for some reason <_<

One thing i'm really not keen on is Irene calling people 'girlie'. Don't know why but i just don't lke it.

Yeah, I always thought he said Boss aswell.

Because it was explained that she was always bossier than him, and it was a fun nickname Brad came up with for her.

Yeh I like how Beth says 'Sweetie' or 'Sweet' cause it makes her a strong person as a mother
