I like it how Morag always calls Alf "Alfred", especially when she's telling him off, which she seems to enjoy doing!

I was surprised to see Morag has stored his name in her mobile phone as 'Alf', not 'Alfred', which we saw when her phone rang in the car the other day. Perhaps that was just sloppiness on the part of the props people?

I agree about Sally calling Alf 'Mr Stewart'. It wouldn't seem right if she didn't as it represents how she has known him since she was a little girl, and how she has grown up with him around.

However, there have been a few occasions where she has called him Alf. For example, in Episode 3355 where Charlotte is having her leaving party, Sally goes into the kitchen and says 'Alf, Irene's thinking of heading off soon and she wanted to know if you want a lift'. That has always stuck out in my mind as I was so used to hearing her call him 'Mr Stewart'. I'm not sure how many other examples of this there has been.

Sally grew up calling Alf Mr. Stewart so she stuck with it.

Reenie is the most annoying nickname in the entire show.

As for Colleen, she worked for Flynn and doesn't really know Rachel hence calling them by their title, plus old people tend to be more formal.

I think it's great that Sally refers to Alf as Mr Stewart, respect where respect is due LoL. Tasha shortens a lot of peoples names I've noticed namely Irene as 'Reenie' and Martha is 'Mac'.

Also, I missed when Ric first came into the programme, but he was known by his last name to begin with 'Dalby' but now it's just 'Ric', and his real name is Eric lol

I love when certain characters have a 'special' name or nickname for someone - i.e. Tasha calling Martha 'Mac'. It makes their friendship seem more real. Having said that I hate how Brad calls Rachel 'Bloss'; it just really bugs me.

Doesn't Tasha call Irene "Reenie" because that's what it is in Pig Latin? I'm sure when Flynn was learning Pig Latin to talk to Tasha, he told her that Irene was called Reenie.

No, Tasha simply calls Irene 'Reenie' as a cute nickname, just like you might call a Rosie 'Rosie Wosie' or something like that!

In Pig Latin, you put the end of the word at the beginning, and the beginning at the end, and add 'ay'. So Irene is 'Rene-i-ay' in Pig.
