luckyrabbit Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 If it is Gillan behind these attacks (and let's face it, it is) I have no idea how the writers could ever realistically wrap it up. The guy is a mafia boss, it's not like he's going to get his hands dirty so it's not like they'll catch him in the act, and he has an endless supply of henchmen to do his bidding, so it can't just end if one gets caught. So what's going to happen? Is Jack going to single-handedly bring down a mafia empire now? The hacks just have to go and bite off more than they can chew don't they. It would've made so much more sense, and would've been a whole lot easier from a storytelling standpoint, for it to just be Zoe and Tracey after Drew.

The fact that Zoe and Tracey can finish him off just like that, a whole mafia family would be a crack up. If they had made Zoe and Tracey, it would not only make much sense like you said, Rabs, it would be the ideal way.

As much as it pains me to say it, Zoe and Tracey are dead - which is stupid, seeing as they're the only people who perished in the explosion, Elaine and Peter died afterwards!

Well, they brought out hopes up with the whole pyro storyline. I know what you mean tho. It's slowly hitting me. I mean, it hit me about Peter but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that he's alive. I think it will only hit me when the pyro is revealed for us over here. Maybe then it will finally click. Eventho they didn't look dead when the camera panned to them. Was DB actually in charge of the first stalker storyline or was it another writer, do you know? Because, if he was able to do such a fantastic job for the first stalker storyline, I really wonder what in the world happened to him this time round for butchering what could have been a fantastic storyline if he had explored things further.

And yep, they definitely teased and tormented us with the pyro story, and as pathetic as it may sound, I found that quite cruel! I think DB made the first stalker stuff, I guess he was just using Zoe as a ratings booster and a plot device for all the other storylines it triggered (Maddie's stuff, going back to Lee/Luc, pyro, similarities between Believers, M/J etc).
