It was probably a "hit two birds with one stone" thing with Nic's exit plot and Zoe's return-for-ratings-boost.

Yeah. Now that I think about it. After all, Nic's leaving would bring ratings down a little seeing as that he has such a huge fan base. So, by bringing back Zoe, it would make up for it as well as boost the ratings a little. It kind of sucks for them to have to go this low just for the sake of ratings tho, if you ask me.

I just hope the next psychopath is a decently layered character which is complex and dark, who'll stick around for a long ass while until the storyline's a exhausted, not when DB and his crew get bored.

I completely agree. Aparently they can't make their psychopaths stay long enough. They need good scriptwriters to make it stick.

I think I want the next psychopath to be a combination of Sarah, Tracey and Zoe. Just for the heck of it! Altho, I don't mind them bringing back Sarah Enright more than anything in the world!
