Ross Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 Sophie definitely has to be one of my all time favourites; I would most certainly love to see her return. I was always quite disappointed that she didn't return for Flynn's funeral...
tonywilson Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 I always thought of Sophie as some sort of baby machine as all her main storylines involved her being pregnant.
Sunny Girl Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 I too would love to see her return but I don't think she would ever return permanently, regardless of how much I might wish her and Blake to.
ste Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Sophie certainly had more storylines than being pregnant. When she first arrived she was illiterate and got electrocuted, there was all the stuff with her father, she was the victim of a bullying storyline, and later a sexual harrassment at work storyline, and later kleptomania. And of course there was the on-off romance with Blake which has spanned the best part of 14 years I'd love to see her return, she is such a great link to the past and Rebekah Emalogasjofihs who plays her is still so in-tune with Sophie as a character. She is well loved even by fans who didn't watch back then and I think that says a lot for her. I love when she stood up to Angie Angie: How lucky for you as her sister, that Sally has the power to hire and fire whoever she likes. Sophie: I don't know about that, you're still here.
Marc EH Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 I always thought of Sophie as some sort of baby machine as all her main storylines involved her being pregnant. Yes I have always thought of her that way too!
Ross Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 Angie: How lucky for you as her sister, that Sally has the power to hire and fire whoever she likes. Sophie: I don't know about that, you're still here. That has got to be one of my all time favourite lines. I loved any line where a character was standing up for themselves against Angie! Another favourite was where that guy from the department came in, and Angie was explaining to him what a 'bad state' Don had left the school in. Then Sally responded by saying to him: "Don Fisher has left this school in very good shape...except for one thing" Classics
~Lynd~ Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 I'd love it if she returned, she's one of my old faves.I know she must have had them but i can't remember any tories she's had that hasn't involved being pregnant except the Blake stuff.
alexx Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 I love Soph, and I reckon if she returned permanently it would be awesome, I would just hope the writers wouldn’t ruin her as I would be afraid they would. Her past returns have been great, and as Ste mentioned, the actor has been so in touch with the character as she has grown with Tamara and her life...I be she would be up for a permanent return also. It would be cool if they played the Sophie theme incidental score with her storylines if she was to return.
ste Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 They played some piano-y music when Sophie and Blake finally kissed in episode 4000, it should have been Sophie's theme, but it wasn't.
