I think your more likely to be adopted if your younger. Ric wouldn't be because he still has Alf. Sally was adopted because she was only 8 and had no other family.

Not sure why Irene adopted Selina though - seems a bit weird

I didn't know Roxy was adopted. Then again I don't really remember any of her backstory. Also, how did she come to live with Stewarts?

Yeah she was Blake and Karen's half sister through their dad Les - Roxy's mum was briefly married to him. But when Les left Carol she couldn't cope and Roxy was adopted out to the Millers. I guess with her being Blake & Karen's half sister, that is why she ended up with the Stewarts.

The show is called ‘Home and Away’ so it’s cool that’s the excuse, and its what the show was originally about anyway (people/kids being Home in the Bay yet away from their original Home).

As for Selina, she wasn't adopted by Irene, only fostered. But Selina did change her name to Roberts.

Ric isn't adopted, but his father was adopted, which is kinda relevant as it's how we found out Ric was Alf's grandson in the first place! Owen Dalby was Alf and Viv's son but was adopted by the Dalbys.

No, they looked after him in Pete's absence, but I think Rhys always had a slight hope Pete would return for him in the end, as although he tried to be a father to Max, he knew he missed having the real thing.
