i was just thinking about when cassie first came into Home and Away how she was portrayed as been the girl who all the guys liked who all the guys wanted out with whereas Matilda was seen to be the girl that the guys paid no attention to she had to try really hard to get a guy now Cassie is good looking but Matilda is sooooooooooooooooo much hotter if there was a girl like Matilda in real life she would have guys falling over themselves to get to her. poor show scripwriters for the way this story was portrayed

I don't think it's poor writing,it depends on your idea of good looking,and Mattie has grown up in the last few months.

Some poeple see people differently eg . Some person might think one girl is much prettier and the other might tihnk she is ugly and vise versa . Some girls/boys appeal differently to pthers

I know. Indiana is gorgeous...can't beleive she is nearly 16! Sharni is far too orange and skinny. Tho I am starting to warm to her and her character.

At the time of Cassie's arrival, it was evident that she had a far more vibrant personality than Matilda, a bit of a danger lover, and I think that's why everyone was so attracted to her. At the same time, Matilda was a little.....well, dull to be frank.

I agree. Matilda was such a spoilt brat first off in the show aswell with all that French Malarky. I found her very frustrating, but with all her stroylines of wanting to be popular etc have made her grow up into a realistic teenager. My only problem is that she is still booooooring. Lucas just does nothing and consequently she suffers (although I have read aussie spoilers and Im glad this is not the caswe for too long, though I fear we could have a Maddie overload to compensate!)

Cassie has a better personality then Matilda, Ithink the writers were trying to show that it is not about looks but it is about personality. Matilda has now got a better personality then she had before and is more mature.

emzyflower, I would necesarily say Matilda is still boring, she just doesn't have the wild streak that Cassie has, which I think is a good thing. I must be careful what I say in this forum, but I think upcoming storylines will leave you with a sense that she is more multi-layered and interesting than meets the eye - and, thankfully, not in a sensational way.

I've seen the episodes that i *think* you're refering to Foxy. I still think Matilda is boring as all hell - i much prefered her in the midst of the Diesel/Callan stuff.

I think both girls are beautiful though. Indiana looks like the Olsen twins, and Cassie is stunning (when she doesn't have her hair in those god-awful pigtail/plaits). I think it was very realistic for the storywriters to have Cassie as the one guys were attracted to, just because she's more fun! Also, in terms of emotional/physical (etc) maturity, she had bucket loads more than Mattie at the time.
