Ross Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 For the Neighbours stalker storyline (including plane crash) to be a copy of H&As storyline, it would need to be dumbed down and become crap. At least Neighbours had the guts to kill off multiple main characters and be genuinely sickening. That plane crash disturbed me Yeh, I would have to agree. Seeing inside the plane as it was going down, and everybody's reactions, and then for David, Lil and Serena all to die was definitely some of the most emotional stuff in recent years in Neighbours.
loulou170388 Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 I find home and aways storylines a-lot more relevant to ( the young people) of today and i prefer the way they do them. It all seems more realistic, where as ( as much as i love neighbours ) some of it does seem quite 'heightened' - like the sets etc. Home and Aways are more realistic ( in my opnion - feel free to challenge my views! hehe * soz, made a spelling error!! *
emzyflower Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 I agree. Neighbours always seems too chirpy for me at times. Home and Away is more realistic in the character developments althought the storylines can be a tad sensational with all the deaths etc
