Because it would be boring to have an episode where all they do is eat and un-wrap presents.

I know they used to have some "Christmas" scenes in the olden days... Christmas trees etc.

That photo above is when Jack Curtis Selena and Shannon had a fire outside the Stewarts house toasting marshmallows! I think Alf was putting up fairy lights on the outside of the house and it set on fire?! Also I remember Rox found out she had cancer around that time. Was 1994 I think.

The other picture is 1996.

Well they probably dont have christmas eps because they dont show Home and Away during Christmas in Australia. So its sort of pointless right?

But it would be nice for them all to be happy for a day without any drama :P

We saw the Hunter early Christmas, which I think was a nice touch and was good for the Kim storyline at the time, but I wouldn't want it as a regular occurance.

The final with Paulini in it, they had christmas carols playing in the background as they showed all the families together which was a nice touch. Also I may be mistaken but I think it was christmas time back in 1996/ 1997 episodes and everyone went around and sung christmas carols at each others house and had food and drinks etc

in 1994 Irene dressed up as Santa and got stranded out at sea and had to be airlifted to the shore by a helicopter.
