HAMMERFORLIFE Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 hey hammer for life here as you all know it was me who posted the idea about the uk having one hour episodes instead of half hour episodes and one of the replies that i got was that every year the uk catches up on Australia by 6-8 weeks which means that in a few years time the Uk will be bang up to date with Australia. That got me thinking see because you guys in Australia take breaks between the end of one season and the start of another but in the Uk Home and Away is on every day does that mean because of certain circumstances that the Uk could end up been ahead of Aus due to the breaks Aus takes between each season
ste Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 No. It means that once the UK are close to Aus episodes we will start taking the Christmas break along with them. Either that or we will go down to 4 episodes a week. The UK will not under any circumstances air episodes before Australia.
robbie4tash Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 The astors/actresses also have to take a break some time too you know.
dan Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 If five did manage to go ahead they would probably be fined! As I believe RTE were a few years ago when they got ahead and they advertised H&A as "see it here first" !
