xGlowingAngelx Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 I think if we had hour long episodes then storylines would get too far in too quickly (If that makes sense) The thing with the half-hourly episodes is that something really exciting can be going to be happening in that episode and you sit there thinking 'ohhh there's only ten minutes left' so you end up with cliff hangers, which every body loves. I quite like it the way it is. (Although I wouldn't neccessarily complain if they did decide to show hour long episodes).

With your stupid elipses... *grumbles* lol.
xGlowingAngelx Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 lol yes. But as you well know, it keeps the viewer hooked.
Flynns_little_angel Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 Maybe if they took Becker off they could show H&A and then an episode from when it began, so there's two sequences going on. Thats a fab idea! I think you should email channel 5!!!! H&A, House and Grey's Anatomy are the only decent things on there. Hey dont forget CSI!! I love CSI!! Miami and Crime Scene Investigation.. not much for new york...
Tasha Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 and dont forget the OC *hmph* we can 1hr eps sometimes in australia when home and away isnt on one night...once we had a movie length home and away (1.5hrs) it was awesome
zozalina Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 I wish we weren't so far behind Australia; the current storylines aren't going to air over here until November (roughly).
summer_bay_rules Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 I wish we weren't so far behind Australia; the current storylines aren't going to air over here until November (roughly). I know, I'm so jealous of the people in Oz because the current storylines seem amazing and I wish we didn't have to wait so long to see them over here.
Eerik Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Stop complaining! You are only few months behind! The gap between Estonia and Australia is about four years and I don't really care. As long as we see all the episodes. We see about 290 episodes in a year but they make only 230 new episodes in a year so we're catching up slowly but surely.
Bay_Mad Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 No way, hour long episodes would suck!! Not that I dont love home and away or anything..its just I love the cliffhangers..and if we were to catch up with Australia then we would have to go weeks without home and away at christmas like they do!
