I was reading the episode guide on the BTTB website and the description for Tuesday's episode said Leah had collapsed due to an allergic reaction to a tick. But when I watched the episode today, the doctor said Leah had pneumonia and that's why she collapsed. Did I miss something, or was this just a mistake?

I'm confused aswell, she had pneumonia. I'm not sure what they are on about with the tick comment.

What is Pneumonia

An infection of the lungs, they fill up with water due to infection and its not very pleassant. You can die from it in some cases too, however hers doesnt seem so extreme.

The BTTB episode guides come from a source that comes from before the final production of the episode is finished. Therefore if something changes after the guides are written it will prove false.

Ah, I see. I remember a similar thing during the storyline where Jade was missing after Duncan drove the car over the cliff. And in Sally's diary on the official website it said she was found by Kane in the bush, but when the episode aired, that never happened. I wonder why they end up changing these things.

Yeah, the TV Times said Leah had a tick. I was thinking "that's original" so maybe the writers thought it was a bit far-fetched and went for something simplar to relate to her fall into the water.

You can also get pneumoina from severe smoke inhlataion but it's a very rare chance; I bet you didn't know that!
