Bay_Mad Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 Before I used to really hate Jonah, i thought he was really evil and creepy but now we've found out he's actually good and it was all 'Mama Rose's' doing i've totally changed my opinion! He seems to really care about Tasha and I'd love to see them together if they escape the believers camp! I think he's a lot more suited for Tasha than Robbie is as him and Tasha have a simialar sort of past. Both were brainwashed in their childhoods in a way- Tasha into thinking she couldnt trust anyone. As much as I love Robbie he is kinda boring and not very well suited to Tasha..shes to wild for him! Does anyone agree/disagree??

I think they both suit Tasha but Robbie is still more suited to her. I'd love to say something else here but my spoiler tag isn't working so I won't LOL. Robbie seems a better guy to be in a long-term relationship. Maybe Jonah is a little too wild for her. Apparently spoiler tags aren't working with the new skin yet.

I know he was brainwashed, but personally I think as soon as the so called 'Divine Being' Mama Rose was making him drug and rape someone, alarm bells should have rung, as clearly this was not a good thing..

I mean she is the chosen one, and if she didnt want to bear his child surely he should have respected her on the "religious" grounds, not think ah never mind...ill just drug her it wont matter! hmmmm. I still like Robbie over Jonah, even though he is really dull. They have history and care about each other a lot.

I don't think she really loves him, she's just forcing herself to move on. Mumma Rose is pure evil. She made Jonah rape Tasha because he believed that was the right thing to do. He obviously didn't want to do it but he was brainwashed and his mother had been his influence and "divine being" since his birth so he had to believe her. I thought he got over the "my whole life was a lie" thing very quickly. It's a long time to waste, man.

Although, you could always tell that he had some sort of uncomfortable-ness with what he had to do to Tasha, so maybe he knew he was doing wrong but didn't want to admit it. But I prefer Tasha/Jonah rather than Tasha/Robbie.

This is a boy who has known NO different, the only values he had was given to him by muma rose. Deep down he was confused and thought he was doing wrong BUT with no morals in life of his own he wasn't sure. Did he know right from wrong? If ANY of you have been involved in a cult then you have reason to answer, but I believe you need to know how a cult works and how they brain wash people. Whether he was right or wrong, what I believe and what I know doesn't matter, so please don't jump on me this is just my posting here folks. I do think though that although this was only a tv show, it will cut deep with some people and bring out very strong opinions here
