Emsan Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Zetti wanted a tutorial for this icon: So here goes. It's not the same picture but it's the same style. It's made in Photoshop by the way. 1. Take your cap and move it so it looks something like this: 2. Then duplicate it twice and put the both duplicates on Screen 100%. 3. Now make a new selective colors layer (layer>new adjustment layer>selective color) and use these settings: Reds: -100 +79 +84 -7 Yellows: -100 +74 -36 +36 Cyans: -48 +100 -35 +100 Whites: +1 -17 0 0 Neutrals: -28 +1 +9 -18 4. Now make a new color balance layer (layer>new adjustment layer>color balance) with these settings: Midtones: +11 +34 +19 Shadows: -34 -2 +27 Highlights: -9 +9 -17 Make sure that "Preserve Luminosity" is checked. 5. Make a new curves layer (layer>new adjustment layer>curves) and use these settings: RGB Point 1: O:165 I:147 Point 2: O:90 I:100 Point 3: O:31 I:72 6. Take THIS TEXTURE and put it on the blending mode Multiply 100%. 7. Write some text in the line of the texture edge or however you want it. I then duplicated the text once and put some gaussian blur on the duplicated layer. 8. Take THIS TEXTURE and put it on Lighten 100%. And you are done!
Lmsk Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Dont know if this already is here, but I dont have time to see through all the pages. to 1. Duplicate Layer 2. Set it to overlay 5. Add gaussian blur 5.0 (Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur ) Let me know how it went !

MissOlivia22 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Requested by Zetti. Tutorial for - Its really simple and done on photoshop. 1. Duplicate base and set to screen 2. Layer>New>Adjustment layer>Levels 3. On RGB set the input levels to: 35, 1.80, 255 4. New fill layer - #CCFFFF Then change around the Opacity of the screen layer to get what you want. Thats the tut for the original made. To get the exact colouring I just mucked around with it a little.
