Cerise Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Rachel Tutorial - Hue/Sat, Selective Coloring, Curves. PS7, non transatable to PSP. Step One depends if your Image needs it. Mine Did. Duplicate your Base twice - set one to Screen and the other to Soft Light. Play around with Opacity. Then I added a greenish Fill layer to make her dress stand out more. It depends what Color you want to bring out in your Image though. Set to Soft Light Step Two - Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Hue/Sat. Master Hue -5 Sat +37 Lightness -1 Set this layer to Soft Light. I did it at 50% Step Three - Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Selective Color Reds Cyan -100 Black +16 Whites Everything +100. (This depends on the Image, sometimes your base will look weird. Play around with Settings) Step Four - Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Curves In Reds: In: 116 Out: 75 That makes the above Image. Blur places that look dodgy, I did her skin. To add some extra effects to that ^^ image Fill with AF61B6 and Set to Soft Light. It gives her Red Hair more tone Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Selective Color. Greens 100 -100 100 100 Neutrals -8 0 30 10 Set to Screen 50% With those extra effects you get
Eli Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 I know nobody asked for it, but I'm bored so I decided to make a tutorial. I've got a lot of nice feedback on this colouring, so hopefully you will get it to work as well It works best with dark screencaps. Other results: I'd love to see your results
