Cerise Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 A rough, 2-minute Transparent Image Hopefully that explains it a little better, a Transparent Image is an Image pasted on a Background that dosnt really exist
.Amy. Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Heres a tut for transparent images, because I'm bored, and have no life You need to start with a transparent background. Look here:- Open you image. I used the polygonal lasso tool to cut around my image and put it on the background. I then stroked my image. Then, I saved it as .gif, and made sure transparency was ticked. Hope this helps Does anyone have a tut on how to stroke an image like above^ not the blue bit the white bit?
Eli Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Just make a selection, go to Edit>Stroke and enter pixel and color settings.
.Amy. Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 See my problem is how do I select the person? Not the whole thing.
Cerise Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Lasso Tool or Rectangular Marquee (feathered)
.Cat. Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 See my problem is how do I select the person? Not the whole thing. The Hilary image, itself that Emily posted wasn't stroked/cut out. But if you want to stroke an image here's how I do it...Select the polygonal lasso tool, and make sure in the toolbar, where it says 'feather', around 0.5-2.5 is entered in. Go around you image until you've cut out the background. Select your new cut image (so it should just be the person by themself, no background) and go to Edit>Stroke e.t.c.
.Amy. Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 Does anyone a good colour for skin like when your colouring a black and white photo?
~Amy~ Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 I usually eye-drop it out of a an actual picture.
