Cerise Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 Heaps of people have been asking for one, so here it is. I'm not going to do it very detailed, but if you're stuck, just say. (the images were a bit rushed) Original: After I colored it: You can still do the same with a colored picture (as the original). Ok, get a circle brush, make a new layer, and pick what part you're wanting to color at the moment. Say you're wanting to color the dress, so I pick a purpley color, and on the new layer went over the dress. Set the layer to "Color". Make another new layer, and I picked a peachy color for her skin, so I went over her skin with the brush, and set it to "color". Just keep doing this until you're done. I love this (old) Tut! I just figured out the whole layer thing so I made from this (that I desaturated + Cropped)

ms.megan Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 This is really simple and someone has probally done it before. But I thought it would be useful. How to get from this to this 1.Get your base mine is Marilyn Monroe. Sharpen and what not. But don't crop. 2.Copy your base. 3.Open a new file and make it the same size as your base(do not paste the base on quite yet) 4.Using the custom shap tool draw an oval in the middle of the document. 5.Create a new layer 6.Click the custom shape layer and hold down alt while the cursor is in between the custom shape layer and layer 1 a little symbol will come up. Press down when you see it. (Your layer pallete should look like this.) 7.Press layer 1 and paste your base in. This should make the picture go into the oval. 8.You can now decorate the background by adding brushes and gradients. It can also work with other shapes *edit link was broken*
.Cat. Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 The first result looks really cool, definately trying! Thanks
