.Amy. Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Found them, does anyone have a tutorial for coloring, its hard to explain but if you do it it kind of brings a red/orange color through blond hair? (world's worst explanation!)
.Cat. Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Try going hair in a light orange/red and set to colour, or experiment with other blending modes?
Eli Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Also if the hair is for example blond, and you want to give it a more red or orange color without making it completely orange, set the layer to color and adjust the opacity down. I guess that was a pretty unnecessary and obvious advice, but hey - It's friday night and I have no life.
Guest [x]whacko[x]jen[x] Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 I do what do you need help with? How do you change the colour of the text?
~Dom~ Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 How do you make a the sides on a blend look less pointy I tried feathering but it doesn't seem to make a difference
.Amy. Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 you know the rectangular tool? Are you selecting your image too close to the edges?
Cerise Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 Colouring Tutorial From this to PSC2, Selective Colouring, non translatable. Sorry. Some parts borrowed (and modified) from the first tutorial here - 1. Crop your base. 2. Duplicate layer -> Set to screen 50% Opacity [Number of screened layers &/or opacity may depend on image] 3. Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Selective Colour Red Cyan –100 Yellow Cyan – 43 Neutral Cyan –16 Yellow +7 4. Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Selective Colour Red Cyan –50 Yellow +50 Yellow Cyan –50 Neutral Cyan +57 Yellow –19 5. Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Selective Colour Red Cyan –50 Yellow +50 Yellow Cyan –50 Neutrals Cyan +100 Yellow –69 6. Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Colour Balance Midtones -50, +15, -20 Shadows -50, -35, 0 7. Flatten image, and we're done. Other examples. I know this Tut was written a while ago, but I tried it with the same Image (find it easier to compare) and got Awesomwe tut!
~Dom~ Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 you know the rectangular tool? Are you selecting your image too close to the edges? It lets me do it but it doesn't seem to do any thing when i feather it
.Amy. Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 Yes but are you selecting it too close to the edge of the picture because it wont feather if you do.
