ms.megan Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 My first Tutorial Using Photoshop CS Works best with images with a white background Nothing great. From to 1.Crop and Resize 2.Filter>Sharpen>Un sharp mask Put in these numbers 150 1.0 15 (Numbers may vary for different pictures) 3.Layer>New fill layer> Solid colour Put in 14118B Exclusion 60% opacity. 4.Merge all. Layer>New adjustment layer> Selective colour Neutrals -25 -12 -27 +22 5.Layer>New fill layer> Solid colour 828BBD soft light 70% opacity 6.Merge all. Add this gradient in 100% soft light 7.Merge. Filter>Sharpen>Sharpen 8.Add text and brushes. I used Loverboy font in DFADE0 And now your done!
~Amy~ Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 Uhhh....Mine didn't turn out so great! It went kind of orangy... I'll post it later, incase someone might know where I went wrong? Orange?
SfanS Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 Yeah. I know! Isn't that weird? I'll try again later on another picture.
~Rosey~ Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 Megan - tryed it, but couldnt add gradient. Sorry
SfanS Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I use PS 7. My First Tutorial We’ll be going from this to this. 1. Crop your base to 100 x 100. 2. Duplicate your base and set to Screen 100% Opacity and Fill. Depending on the quality of your image, you may need to do this more than once, I did it twice. 3. Duplicate your base and set to Colour 100% Opacity and Fill. 4. Duplicate your base and set to Pin Light 100% Opacity and Fill. 5. Duplicate your base and set to Linear Burn 100% Opacity and 7% Fill. 6. Go to Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Colour > # E54F4F 7. Go to Layer > New Fill Layer > Selective Colour. Reds C -66 M -54 Y -51 B -52 Magentas C -12 M -4 Y -54 B -26 Neutrals C +55 M -35 Y -53 B -10 Blacks C +54 M +32 Y -29 B +36 That’s it! You’re done. Examples I'd love to see all your results. I think I actually came close to what it's sposed to look like, for once! My result: Thanks for the easy-to-follow-wiht-a-great-result tut! Amy, I tried yours...I couldn't tell whether it looked right or not. : And this is a result from one of Amir's: I had a tutorial idea awhile ago, I tried it out and everything, but it's a bit stupid...I fel like everything else has been done!
SfanS Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 THanks everyone for all these tuts...I'm really getting better, IMO. Not sure what everyone else thinks. Meg, that was a great tutorial! What do you think of my result?
ms.megan Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 It looks nice can you post the original picture? Although I think you should have out the writing vertically on the left. but other then that it's great.
