My new Tutorial, its an effective tutorial. requested by Merc NOTE: This may just work with images the same light and contrast as mine. Does not work with Grey Images. Simple Coloring Effects Tutorial From This to This Ok so crop you image to your liking. Now for the effects. Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Selective Colouring Reds Cyan +100 Magenta +2 Yellow 0 Black +27 Now what you should notice is the darker bits of you image going darker and the blue bits going bluer lol. Yellows Cyan +6 Magenta +100 Yellow 0 Black +100 Now you should notice more a less the same as the first. Cyans Cyan +100 Magenta + 100 Yellow 0 Black +100 Magentas All to +100 Neutrals Cyan +24 Magenta 0 Yellow 0 Black – 22 Ok Done the Selective Coloring Should Now Look a bit like This Now Get the Burn tool and go over her cheeks on 50% That should make her apples of her cheeks darker. Now Duplicate you base 5 Times. Ok Put them on this 1. Multiply 2. Screen 3. Hard Light. Desatuarate 4. Soft Light Now On Layers 3 and 4 Go Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur Should Look like This Now Get the Dodge Tool on 50% Now get the Burn tool, and on the smallest size go over her eyes, to look asif she has darker eye liner. Now Go Imge >>> Adjustments>> Variations and Press magenta Once. Now edit>> Fade variations >> 46% Base Should Now look like This Ok before the effects you have to do this. Duplicate the base layer. Erase the background of the Duplicated Base. Now in-between the Base and Duplicated Layer. Make a New layer. Now right click on that Layer and go to “Blending Options” Ok Now for the effects. I got this Brush. It came with my Photoshop originally Looks like this when Brushed Now Brush A design you want on it in white Now above all layers make a new layer. Set the same Blending Options. Now make a stroke across it in white. This is where your text goes. Now for your text. So across the last Brushes layer write what you want in white. And set the Bledning Options to “Drop Shadow” and “Outer Glow” Finsh it f with a border and your done.

Open base. Sharpen/Crop/Resize e.t.c. I didn't sharpen. 2. Duplicate base, set to Screen @ 100%. You may need to fiddle with the opacity, depending on your image. 3. Make a new Color Balance Layer. These were my settings- Midtones: -45, -5, 24 4. Duplicate base, and drag to the top. Desaturate and set to Softlight, 30%. 5. Make a new Hue/Sat Layer. These were my settings- Master: 0, 27, 0 Red: 0, 13, 0 6. Make a new Selective Color Layer. My settings- Reds: -88, 0, 54, 0 Yellows: -81, 0, 49, 0 Neutrals: 20, -14, -31, 0 7. (This step is optional, I suppose)Make another Selective Color Layer. My settings- Neutrals: 0, -8, 12, 0 This is what my icon looks like now: 8. Something was missing, so I added this random brush made by me in white. Finished. My result:

I have downloaded some brushes like this and I was wondering if anyone could help me to get it to look like this Use the magic wand tool, and go over the black part. Only the black part should now be selected. Hit delete on your keyboard. EDIT: Ok, that doesn't work. Here...I made this: Just apply it in white, as a brush.
