~Amy~ Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 A, um, another coloring tut This: http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l50/CatsArtwork/ctbefo.jpg To this: 1. Open image, and sharpen. 2. Duplicate base 3 times. First: Softlight, 100 Second: Softlight, 30 Third: Screen, 10 3. Layer> New Fill Layer> Solid color. 5C6AF4, set to Color Burn, 40. Another New Fill Layer. FFC5FA, set to Softlight, 30. 4. Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Selective coloring. My settings: Red: Cyan: -23 Magneta: 2 Yellow: 23 Black: 3 Set this layer to Softlight, 40. 5. Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Hue/Saturation. Saturation: 30. 6. Now get your text tool, and write whatever you want (it works better in White). Right click the text layer, and go down to Blending options. Select "Drop Shadow", and "Outer Glow" Click ok. Using this tutorial I went from this to this I'm really happy with the end result. Thanks .Cat.
~Amy~ Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 So do I. I've tried tonnes of other tutorials but I can never get it right, until now
.Cat. Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Hm, it's not showing up for me. Are you entering in this code: [img*]URL here[/img*] (minus the '*'s)
~Amy~ Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 I'm following a tutorial, and at the risk of sounding stupid I have a question. I'm given a picture of a texture and I'm told to "drag it onto your icon" I used the selection tool and then when I dragged it onto my icon it was no longer visible. Does anybody know where I am going wrong?
Marieh Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 I wonder if you got to flatten the layers..? Go to adjust-dublicate and try and use the 2nd one to "play with" Then go to layers-flatten image. Can't really rememeber as I don't have photoshop or anyother program on this computer
