rockstarrr08 Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 How do you get textures like those??. With different colors etc... Thanks.
-Emily- Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 We're going from to 1. Crop and sharpen the image and you'll get: 2. Add curves at Input 163 and output 135, and you'll get this: 3. Add a soft round brush in white, size 46, set the brush mode to lighten, add it to the pic and you'll get this: 4. Add text etc and you're done! Heres my finished product: Sorry lol but its just no one replied and i thought you'd miss this post
Amir Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 Yay! I made a tutorial. Just letting you all know....if you want the textures/gradients you crop them then drag it onto your icon....then you revert the tutorial. If that's too hard for you ask me to upload the gradients/textures. Just letting you know again. And i'd love to see your results...please post! Your tutorial was okay...-Emily- i didn't learn anything though.
-Emily- Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 Yeah...it wasn't really meant to be teaching anything. Just adding some cool effects to aboring pic.
Amir Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 Okay....tried my tutorial? Took me ages to write up. But it was fun!
MarMar Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 This is not my tutorial as I made it following a tutorial on LJ. 1. Crop image and resize. 2. Duplicate layer, set it to screen. Duplicate and set it overlay x2. 3. Add ned layer and fill with black. Set it to color. 4. Use the eraser to retrieve the color on desired objects. 5. Add brushes etc.
-Emily- Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 Okay....tried my tutorial? Took me ages to write up. But it was fun! Tried it, but it didn't work. Will have to keep trying.
