As someone else said, the scenes with Alf crying and with Ric saying "I love you dad" were really powerful. I think also when Flynn took Alf's hand and when Flynn said goodbye to Pippa were amazing. What I didn't like was how when they were dancing, the song practically cut out afterwards. I thought they could have faded it more effectively.

Until now I haven't realised what a great character Flynn is but I think there will be a gap in the show now he's gone.

I really hope the actors get some kind of award for their performances. Will be interesting to see the other characters' reactions, particularly Leah. I thought she would've said goodbye as she was there and also they did once kiss.

Yeah, I had a problem with the music cutting out so soon as well.

I think we all try to forget about the kiss between Flynn and Leah. I do anyway.

It's over. I can't believe it. I'm going to be crying like hell at the funeral. And I'm home tomorrow lunchtime, so no doubt I'll be watching the repeat and crying all over again. :( I went downstairs afterwards and my parents actually said to me, 'Who's died?' I was like 'F-F-Flynn' Needless to say, my grief fell on deaf ears - they're not big H&A fans.... :P

Blimey, that was all just too bloomin' much to watch! - I lost my Dad to cancer middle of last year, and have found this whole storyline-totally beautiful and if anything done just too well.

I won't go on and on about it all,but I felt I needed to e-mail 7,and I did,had a lovely reply and with that too,I've found this whole storyline, and Kate and Joel(I wish they could'nt act SO well!!) a huge and important part of my grieving process.

So,Kate and Joel - Thankyou!

Ric found it hard and when he said im not going up.With the wise words from Alf saying are you sure, gave him the push to go to see Flynn. So im glad he went up last.

I watched the episode on this website during when Aus aired it, and today again. Most times, when I watch an episode over again, it doesn't have that much of an effect on me. Tnight, whilst I didn't cry like I did in February, the episode still moved me incredibly. The whole storyline has been brilliant, moving and very well acted by everyone involved. I have thoroughly enjoyed the storyline, and I am sure I will be moved during the funeral tomorrow too.

Was preparing to write an essay on this.

But it doesn't need it.

My eyes are still puffy from crying the entire way through that episode.

Cassie did it for me at the start, and Ric by the end "I love you Dad".

I know I'm not saying anything that others haven't said already. but I thought it was an AWESOME episode- and I was thinking how much Joel McIlroy totally OWNED the character that after coming to it late that probably almost NOBODY was even thinking about the original shaggy-haired Flynn - which WAS of course the one Sally was talking about originally falling in love with.

What a shame our soap awards over here don't actually include all those that are actually SHOWN over here as then instead of the usual "whose turn is it this year ? Corrie / Eastenders /Corrie /Eastenders etc etc etc it would be " stand aside for that episode !!

Good on you Doctor Saunders and thanks for everything - gone but certainly not forgotten !!
