princess_in_pink Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 It must have been yours then . I loved how Colleen took over, very sweet, I actually thought she was very good. It showed that Lyn Collingwood can do serious scenes too. Brought a tear to my eye. Yeah that was a very emotional scene, it was nice to see colleen doing a much more serious scene, then just gossiping about people, which she tends to do a lot.
Jess Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 I was half expecting Madge Wilkins to make an appearance at the funeral
c120701 Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 I was half expecting Madge Wilkins to make an appearance at the funeral I think she decided to make the most of her only day off from babysitting Pippa in about a year and do something else.
Jess Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 LOL! What would everyone do without her? Babysitter for Pippa and Colleen's partner-in-gossip. She practically holds the Bay together. (Sorry off topicness over now! )
bring-back-bobbi Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Did anyone else think that Flynns goodbye was a little short? It was two really emotional episodes then back to Tasha and the Believers. That said, the one of the funeral with Flynn speaking over it was really well done and really moving. I'm really going to miss the Summer Bay Super Doc!!
ste Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Flynn's goodbye isn't over yet. They have to fit the other characters and storylines into the week too
ric/flynns gal Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 does anyone know what the song being played whilst Sally scattered Flynn's ashes is called? Thanks for any help as it was a lovely tune and fitted in perfectly as Flynn's voice echoed across our screens. xxx
ste Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 I'm not sure which tune you mean as the one when Sally scattered the ashes is different to the one when Flynn's voiceover played. Either way they are not real pieces of music, they were just composed for the episode by Home and Away but you can download the one where Sally scatters the ashes here.
ric/flynns gal Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 thank you ste, v.helpful jus thought that both pieces of music were lovely.
melly Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 I dont think that i've ever cried so much in my life. I missed the funeral episode but my friend told me about a song/poem at the end. It wasnt the 'do not stand at my grave and weep' one though. Does anyone know what it was?
