Jess Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Cassie's poem was so sad! 'Do not stand at my grave and weep' But I agree, Dan's speech mentioning Flynn's running and his legs was class!
Liz Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Whilst it was really good that they got John & Ashley Saunders back for the funeral, it would've been nice if more people had actually spoken to them. Ashley didn't even say a word. I wish that Ashley had said something. Rather than looking greif-stricken, she just looked moody and p*ssed off, like she did in 2001. She was supposed to have sorted her life out since then.
Dan F Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 She did have one sentence 'When are the ashes going to be scattered, do you know?' Though I agree, it would have been better to hear more from her - maybe just her saying at the funeral about how she was going off the rails but Flynn got her back on track....just something that would have a nice bit of continuity to it.
Ryan Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 And for those of you wanting to know who Ashley is, there's a character bio freshly uploaded. Mind you there's no pretty pictures, though finding a pretty picture of Ashley would be hard.
h&acouples Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Joel narration was very good and the candlight vigil was beutiful and cassies and dans speech was touching , the whole epiode was emotional
Liz Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 I hated Kim expression; he looked really... smug.
100%me Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 why was Jonah at the funeral? I know hes with Tasha but he didnt even know Flynn.
H&A_FAN Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 My mom hasn't watched HAA since like 1995 or something. She told me she caught about 2 minutes of the Flynn's funeral episode, she hardly knows who he is and she was still got teary when Sally was scattering the ashes.
TabbyCool Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 I haven't seen the funeral episode yet, but I watched the previous 3 episodes yesterday and cried like a baby during the episode where Flynn dies. The acting on this storyline has been brilliant, the whole thing has been thoroughly beautiful and moving, Flynn will be greatly missed :-(
xGlowingAngelx Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 why was Jonah at the funeral? I know hes with Tasha but he didnt even know Flynn. I thought that was really unthoughtful of Tasha, myself. Yes, she's 'with' Jonah now and she wanted him there with her, but inviting a complete stranger to the funeral was rather insensitive, and she should have known someone would end up causing a scene, whether it had been Martha, Robbie or even Irene...
