Jess Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Do you think you could swim in the ocean now with Flynn's toenails floating about? Ryan! Decorum! A man has just died!
Dan F Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 I see Five has quickly banged together a quick gallery of todays episode - they're always one step behind...
Jess Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 I doubt they're very good either, probably just screencaps. :rolls eyes:
Izzy H Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 It;s got a video of Flynn in the church in one of the pictures/photos .... they never showed that in the episode today.

JackWilkins Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Couldn't watch much of todays...just couldn't bring myself to,so forgive me for remembering when I first saw it a fair while ago... I have to say not only was the poem read by Cassie a huge comfort, last year to my Mum and us when we first discovered it,but Lyn Collingwood, somehow read that poem as her and not Colleen,it just seemed like that for a moment, bringing a hugely sensitive touch the whole service. I caught the second half, largely through tears, and despite the extremely unnecessary arguement with Martha/Jonah/Tasha - the chance to forget that would have been a welcome relief!-it was yet a again a landmark in the dramas history, present and future.
c120701 Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Whilst it was really good that they got John & Ashley Saunders back for the funeral, it would've been nice if more people had actually spoken to them. Ashley didn't even say a word. The actual funeral seemed really short too, they should've concentrated more on that, instead of the wake and the annoying Believers stuff.
Melanie47 Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 I will forever love Dan for his speech and the fact that he mentioned Flynn's running.
c120701 Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 I loved Colleen and Cassie reading the poem; reminds me of when Drew died in Neighbours and Harold helped Libby read the poem. Libby sang a song, 'Wild Mountain Thyme' which Drew sang to her at their wedding, accompanied by Harold, which is why Harold joined in when Libby struggled.
