SfanS Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 oops! Do I have time for it now...bored,so I'll give it my best shot! Wait- what is it Oz time!?
SfanS Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 never done one of these before, so another question- How many words does it have to be...sorry! I just don't know! And...if we don't get to the exact limit, does that mean we don't get to enter?
xGlowingAngelx Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 wow, I completely forgot about this challenge. Probably because of my computer troubles. I didn't even write one lol. I look forward to reading the entries anyway. My apologies jackandmartha!!! I know you told me I had to enter, lol.
gawguss_tiff Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 ok this may sound kinda dumb but ive only just found this fan fic challenge thig so where do you read the entries for this challenge and previous ones???? lol
-Jade- Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 wow, I completely forgot about this challenge. Probably because of my computer troubles. I didn't even write one lol. I look forward to reading the entries anyway. My apologies jackandmartha!!! I know you told me I had to enter, lol. No problem, of course I won't pressure you. But don't write it off because you think you don't have enough time - it doesn't take as long as you think it will to write a one shot! If you get the chance have a go... And for anyone who isn't sure the maximum word limit is 3500 words, and the minimum is 1500 words, give or take 10% either side. And gawjuss tiff I think the previous challenge entries are in the library though I'm not a hundred percent sure. Skykat would probably be able to answer that question better. As for the current challenge - the entries will be posted tomorrow since the deadline is midnight today for the UK. If you're in Australia you've got approximately 11 hours.
emmasi Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 What's youre stance on writing a free-standing chapter for an existing fic? I've been wanting to write an "After the Crash" chapter all day, but it doesn't rely on needing to know anything else from that fic. If I could submit it for this competition, that would be neat. If not... well... them's the breaks I guess.
Skykat Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 The entries for this challenge will be posted in a thread of their own in the fic forum after the closing date. The old challenges are either buried on the back pages of the forum or invisible to you because I'm in the process of trying to move them to the library but because they have polls and things its not so easy. You've just reminded me to get back to it actually!

It also needs to fit in with the word limit and has to have some connection with one of the prompts.
emmasi Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Okay, thanks. I'll probably need to modify it a bit, but that's not a problem. Now to see if I can get it done in time . I've still got about 7 or 8 hours left, yeah?
