-Jade- Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Thanks! I am inclined to go with the no votes idea, but I just want a week to think it through.

Nicom Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Yea. I loved it Jade! I was one fic away from voting.. but I got incredibly busy. lol. But, I loved your fic. Definitely deserved to win! Oh, and have fun on holiday!

Guest Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Yay you were a well winner you did Definitely deserved to win!
-Jade- Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 I found a computer, I found a computer! lol Right, I would just like to reiterate the following: Thanks SKYKAT! Please Read: Right, well I've been catching up with all the discussion that's taken place over how the challenge will be run from here on in. I'm still deciding on some aspects of the competition but I know that firstly, the poll will most definitely be scrapped. Secondly, as Skykat mentioned, I really think it would be nice to give other people the oppurtunity of hosting. As has been pointed out, some don't like writing but would be great at hosting; or don't feel they should enter because their age would be an unfair advantage. So, despite the fact that I'm still deciding whether or not to have reviews with votes at the end or just reviews, I want to set up a volunteer list for anyone who would like the chance to host the challenge at some point. So, anyone who would like the chance to host, could you please let me know through PM or in this thread? Regardless of whether the competition still has voting or not, this list will be incorporated into the scheme of things. I'm thinking that if we just have a reviewing system, then hosts will be chosen one by one from the volunteer list. However, if I was to keep the voting, then the volunteer list would still be used in the case of a winner not wishing to host or a winner already having hosted a challenge. I hope i'm making sense. That is not to say that if you have already hosted you can't put your name on the list, just bear in mind that it will be put to the bottom. Erm, I think that's nearly everything... The next challenge will be set on Saturday 28th October, reason being is that I'm going on holiday to Italy until Friday next week. (So if you just leave your names in the thread then I will compile the list when I get back.) Hopefully, Italy will inspire me in terms of the prompt! Anyway, you'll all get a small break! So, if you want a chance to host the challenge at some point please let me know.
sevenpuddings Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 *coughs* So...? Any ideas? "Goodbye" as a theme, taken in any way, shape or form? "Sex and Candy" for the more adventurous? Just throwing out ideas to get the ball rolling... I feel as though I need to write a one shot, and I need a reason to write it.
Jackieleanne Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Those are great ideas I was thinking about writing a one shot on the theme of a goodbye and I am thinking that I might bite the bullet and enter a challenge for the first time.
-Jade- Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Sorry, I have terrible organisation, I really do. Actually goodbye sounds really good, I was trying to come up with an idea connected to going away, or finding yourself somewhere new (inspired by my trip to Italy), so yea I think I will give two or three promt kinda option thingys. Apologies for the delay. I promise ( and I honestly do mean this) that the comp will be up tomorrow evening (uk time). Sorry for the wait.
