.Amy. Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 What exactly do you do when you finish it because i have never done a fanfic before?
Skykat Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 What exactly do you do when you finish it because i have never done a fanfic before? Once you've wrote it copy and paste it into a Private message and send it to me. Let me know if you want me to proof read it/ pass comment etc and if I do I'll send it back to you for editing. Once the final draft is complete send it back to me and I'll put it up with all the other entries in a thread for people to review and vote.
Stuart2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 I'm not taking part for some reasons 1. I wouldn't reach the minimum word limit 2.My teacher has given me and the class lots of Homework 3.Im terrible at fan fics 4. I'm too busy on Baylinks(Just posting lots and doing my job on it) I hope you don't think i pulled out because your a bad hoster( )ts just im busy at the moment. Sorry Count me Out. Great work for winning SKYKAT and good luck to writers.
-Jade- Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 I can't wait to have a go at this challenge, I'm just having problems because I haven't really watched home and away long enough to see anyone leave... I've seen Barry, Peter, Hayley, Scott and Jesse leave but that's it and to be honest I'm don't really want to write about them, but I also don't want to try and write about a past character who I never actually saw on the show because I'll get their character all wrong! I'm gonna have to find a way around this somehow though.
sevenpuddings Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Thanks SKYKAT Don't worry, I'll try and get as close to the word limit as possible! Its hard to work out the past/present character too... I went through a whole list before I settled on one that should have been obvious in the first place, but, I think having a go at writing someone who left ages ago could be cool. I mean, YEARS have passed, so their character could have completely changed, which is where you get to play with them. Or, you could always read up on their character, get some background knowledge?
Pierced Musie Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 ... I'm in... hopefully. This one is just too tempting to pass on.
-Jade- Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Hmmm, yea but I'm still slightly nervous that it'll go completely wrong. I mean despite the fact that they might have changed there will still have to be elements to their chracters that are the same, that represent them, and which you could only really have picked up by watching them...
sevenpuddings Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Yay for Tainted Muse being in! I can't wait to see what you come up with! Okay, I know this may be a long shot, but what about character that have died recently... technically they are past characters, and technically they can still interact with present characters... Is that pushing the limits too much?
-Jade- Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 That sounds cool, and I don't think it would be pushing the limits (???)... But which character? The only people that I can remember dying haven't been significant characters (well not when I was watching) - chloe, zoe, tracey, josh... Again, it still seems like I'm kinda stuck. This is pissing me off because I really want to enter.
