sevenpuddings Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 Yep. Do we tone it down, or can it be rated 'M' for smut?
-Jade- Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 lol, ok I'm not really sure what different ratings there are, could someone explain the different ones to me (e.g. M, PG etc...)!
sevenpuddings Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 G - General audience PG - Suitable for twelve and younger, can contain references to minor situations, but nothing serious. (Known as T on FF.net) M - Suitable content for 15 years +. But basically, it means we can have some smut, or some serious kissing, but nothing hardcore (because ff.net doesn't allow it.) They are the main three basically, then there are inbetweens, but they really don't matter.
-Annie- Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 Yay, can't wait to read all of your fics. Perhaps one day I'll enter....or maybe not...
-Jade- Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Just thought I'd remind everyone / let everyone know that... there are 22 days (in terms of UK time) until all entries must be sent!
-Jade- Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 Ok more new info! About proof reading... If you want your entries proof read then please put a note at the start of your fic stating this. Then I will proof read the entries that want to be proof read and then send them back to the authors (very quickly) to check that they are ok with the changes. Or say if I made a suggestion of how they could improve the story then I'll send it back so that they can change a bit of it if they want. Of course none of this HAS to be done, it's totally up to the writer. Then the writers will have to send back their fic the next day as a final draft to be posted! I hope that's ok with everyone.
sevenpuddings Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 So we basically email them to the hotmail account and you'll proof them from there, then send them back to us, then we send the final copy back?
