Reo Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 I was watching some old episodes,it was when disel made the complaint against sally, matilda was with callum and she went missing.. Scott proposed to hayley beacuse he was threatened by kim.. There was this guy who came into the diner and smiled at hayley, then again he came into the diner and hayley turned and walked into him,she said sorry and the guy said 'its alright, are you ready to eat' and hayley asked if she knew him,he said 'very funny'.. Who was that guy? Im sure i have either missed something or it just doesnt make sense.
Liz Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 The guy in the Diner was played by Lleyton Hewitt (Bec's tennis player husband) and the scene was a (very bad) in-joke. It made no difference to the plot whatsoever.
xGlowingAngelx Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 ehh I remember that! It was very strange. It would have been better if he'd have said to her "Can I buy you a coffee?" and she could have replied "No thanks I'm waiting for my boyfriend" lol. Sorry I let my imagination run wild sometimes! lol.
Reo Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 Ahh right thanks,i have only seen a picture of him a few times and knew he was in the soap once but didnt know where.. That was a very bad inside joke, plus with the thing she was going through with scott and his proposal and then this guy came along it seemed like he was apart of a storyline, made it confusing...now i dont have to wonder..thanks all.
ste Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 Worst In-Joke ever. Badly written Badly acted Not Funny Pointless
TabbyCool Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 I thought it was utterly pointless and totally cringeworthy.
x..kt..x Posted June 3, 2006 Report Posted June 3, 2006 I remember that. I totally didn't get what was going on. Thanks for clearing it up! =)
