I have a few questions. My friend and I are talking about going to Sydney prob Jan/Feb next year to have fun and maybe go to the set of Home and Away. First of all what days do they film on Palm Beach? Can the public have access to palm beach and studio filming? When abouts in January do they re start filming? Thanks for the help guys!

The public does not have access to the studio. Only competition winners and VIP guests get to visit the studios.

They only have a couple of weeks off at Christmas so they almost certainly will be filming again by mid-January.

The most likely time to find them at Palm Beach is early to mid-week (Mon-Wed) as that is when they film most location scenes - however location does not necessarily mean Palm Beach, they may spend a day at Collaroy or McCarrs Creek, or they may even spend 3 days at Palm Beach - there's no way of knowing.

You are perfectly free to watch the filming as it is public land, however you must not get in the way whilst filming is in progress, otherwise they will have to ask you to move away due to Health & Safety regulations.

Don't try and speak to the actors during filming or in between takes, only approach them when they have a break from filming (though not whilst they are eating their lunch as that is just rude) or when they have finished their scenes for the day. However you'll have to keep your eye on them as they tend to move off home rather quickly.
